Comparative analysis

Conducted a detailed analysis of 12 leading competitors, evaluating Kaspi Store on 54 key aspects.

Hypothesis 1:

Problem 1: Missing comparison function

Users complained about the difficulty of making decisions when purchasing, as they could not directly compare the characteristics of several products. This led to excessive time spent on searching for information and a decrease in trust in the selection process.

Comparison of goods

NEW

Solution to the problem

added comparison functionality, which makes the selection process easier and faster

User path before/after the comparison function

AND THAT'S IT!

a total of 2 clicks..

Hypothesis 1 - Comparison of goods

How does the comparison function work?

Hypothesis 1 - Comparison of goods

Expected results after the product comparison function:

Increase in conversion by 20%

simplifying the choice lowers barriers to purchase

Reduction of time by 30%

conducted on the choice of goods

Reduction of purchase refusals by 10%

as users will be able to quickly find suitable products

Hypothesis 2:

Problem 1: Insufficient transparency in reviews

Users often faced issues of distrust in reviews, as there was no information about which seller the product was purchased from. This created the risk of buying from unscrupulous sellers and lowered confidence in the choice.

UPGRADE

Now users can see,
who sold the product
Hypothesis 2 - Seller in reviews

Expected results from the implementation of transparency in reviews

Reduction of negative reviews

related to unreliable sellers

Increase in the number of purchases

thanks to the increased trust in sellers

Reduction in the number of returns

because users will be more confident in their purchase

Results of the test assignment
  • Conducted analysis of competitors and user reviews.

  • Developed a new product comparison feature, including the user scenario, comparison screen design, and logical structure.

  • Proposed an improvement to the feedback mechanism by adding links to specific sellers for increased transparency.

Despite the work done, I did not pass the selection because my solutions did not meet the expectations of the Kaspi team. However, the second proposed idea — adding seller information in reviews — was implemented by Kaspi in their app.
